Homeschool Music Session 2
with Teagan Beedell-Simmons
Ages: 7 - 17
For children looking for a group musical activity (regardless of previous musical experience), Homeschool music is for you! We will explore the building blocks of music - rhythm and pitch - through singing, listening, moving our bodies and playing musical instruments. Caregivers will not participate in class, but are asked to stay in the building.
To be successful in Session 2, students should either have participated in Session 1 or be comfortable identifying musical notation (i.e. quarter, half & whole notes) and singing in a group setting.
Students in Homeschool Music will have the opportunity to play the recorder in Session 2. Students may provide their own soprano recorder or order one for $12 from the instructor.
Session 2 will meet on March 12, 19, 26 April 2 and 9
*Tuitions are non-refundable & non-transferable.
