Adult Ballroom Dance Beyond the Basics Class (Cha Cha)

For dancers ready to grow their technique, this four-week class takes a deeper look at Cha Cha, exploring how it works, how it moves, and how to bring out its style.
It’s a great way to strengthen fundamentals and refine performance quality.
No partner required. Come on your own or bring a dance partner!

Music Makers Morning Session 1
with Teagan Beedell-Simmons
Ages: 2 - 6
Join Ms. Teagan for singing, dancing, stories and musical adventures built around a new theme each week.
We’ll use our imaginations as we build confidence, musicality and early literacy skills!
This is an active class including opportunities to move and explore with a variety of props. Children should be dressed for movement (i.e.: shorts, leggings, sweatpants, running shoes) and caregivers should be prepared to participate during class.
Session 1 will meet from 11:15 a.m.-12 p.m. on September 15, 22, 29, and October 6, 13, 20
$50 per family for one child. An additional $10 will be added for each additional child 2 years and older.
*The morning and evening classes will be largely identical. Please only regsiter for the class that best fits your schedule.*
*Participation of at least 5 families is needed for class to take place. The maximum number is 18 children.*

Preschool Music and Movement Session 1

Ages: 4 - 6
For preschool boys and girls that love to move, Preschool Music and Movement uses creative movement principles to introduce a variety of dance styles and concepts.
We will use games and age-appropriate music to explore the many ways our bodies can move and dance!
Children should be dressed for movement (i.e.: leggings, sweatpants or dancewear) and may wear ballet slippers, jazz shoes, socks with grippy soles or bare feet.
Caregivers will not participate in class, but are asked to stay in the building.
Session 1 will meet from 12:15-12:45 p.m. on September 15, 22, 29, and October 6, 13 and 20.
*Participation of at least 5 students is needed for class to take place. The maximum number is 10.*

Homeschool Creative and Jazz Dance
with Teagan Beedell-Simmons
Ages: 7 - 12
Looking for a fun, recreational, low-stress environment for a beginning dancer? We will draw on jazz, hip-hop and modern dance styles to explore age appropriate dance technique. Perfect for girls and boys who like to move and are interested in building their skills.
Children should be dressed for movement (i.e.: leggings, sweatpants or dancewear) and may wear ballet slippers, jazz shoes, socks with grippy soles or bare feet. Caregivers will not participate in class, but are asked to stay in the building

Get ready for a wild creative adventure! Each week this fall, we'll explore the animal kingdom through fun, hands-on projects inspired by creatures from land, sea, and sky. Participants will use their imagination, discover new ways to be creative, and explore a new animal-themed project each week in a fun and engaging environment.
