Marathon Center for the Performing Arts

Join us for an exciting and informative dance class that will allow students to gain an understanding in developing their skills through movement, proper technique, building confidence, and increasing dance vocabulary.

We will also include character work, focusing on development through movement, in order to achieve timing and musicality.  Students will gain experience working both with a partner and small groups.  Each week students will learn basic steps and combinations to teach musicality, rhythm, and coordination with an emphasis in Musical Theatre.

Please attend with comfortable clothes and appropriate shoes for dancing (no open-toed shoes).  Hair must be pulled back out of the face.

Classes will be held:

September 17 and 24   October 1, 8 and 15
